(Yes it is SPAM in the original sense of the word).
The newsgroup you posted to is
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.excel.misc
and has nothing whatsoever to do with excelforums, which
merely slurps up newsgroup postings along with serving you
advertising. The worst part is that they get stored as web pages
instead of remaining simply newsgroup postings.
