Excel 2003 to 2007 Gotchas ... so I can be prepared

My company will be deploying Excel 2007 in the next few months and I have a
lot of macros in Excel 2003 workbooks. I'm sure someone has documented the
issues that people have found moving from 2003 to 2007 (with regard to code).
I know the extensions change, etc. I'm specificaly interested in knowing
if there are things I need to do with my code now so that I'm not affected
when 2007 is released here.
Thanks,

I don't know of any compilation of issues. You could rely on Google to learn
about some of them, and you should also have a workstation set up that is
running 2007 now. If you can't free up a computer, perhaps you could install
a VM using VirtualPC from Microsoft (it's free). Then try out all of your
critical workbooks in 2007 before D-Day, so you can start addressing any
issues.

I've contacted IT to let them know that I need access to 2007 before it's
deployed to the masses. They explained their deployment methodology to me,
but since we have one workbook that's used by many in the company, that's the
one I'm most concerned about. Of course, I have my own personal stuff and I
don't want to find that they crash and burn either. Unfortunately, I can't
get access to 2007 for at least a month. I have access to 2007 at home, but
it's not a company asset. UGH! Life could be fun!

I suppose you could do some overtime at home, and at least test this one
crucial workbook.

Does your IT department have anything in their deployment methodology that
accounts for unexpected incompatibilities?

I truly don't know. Many months ago, they asked for sample files that could
be affected by the change. I don't know what happened with that.

Do you know if the 2007 books would speak to any of these issues? If so,
I'll go and grab one now.

My guess: nothing.

I don't recall seeing very much about incompatibilities in the various Excel
2007 books I've looked at.
