Excel 2003 RTD Server with Visual Studio .NET/C#

I'd like to build a solution with the technologies listed in the subject
line, but have yet to find an article/example/document that addresses them in
combination.

Has anyone done this and if so can you briefly point me in the right
direction to get started?

this article explains step-by-step how to do it on a local machine.
It's in VB.NET, but converting it to c# should be trivial.

by the way, does anyone know how to make the server run on a remote
machine? Yes, I know, regasm, build exe with com interface, etc. Does
anyone know how to do this concretely? (I've never used dcom, nor do i
know how to create an exe with a com interface). I also don't have the
create object function.
