What format should the date be to use the year portion (database is only two
digits)
as rows or columns? The current date format is 12-JAN-98. All transactions
will total by year.

Example:

Transactions: 02 03 04
xxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxx

Transactions are summarized by G/L.

Dave,

Format doesn't matter, as long as they are truly dates: simply drag your date to the row field, then
select it and use the grouping command button on the pivot table drop-down. Then select years, and
it will group the data by year.
