Ive just installed office 2003 from office 2000 on my office computer and when i click on "file" and then "new" my list of templates doesnt appear.
On the right side of the screen under templates and "on my computer" the templates box appears and displays them all - but if i click on them i cant get them to load
Under "options" i have checked the path and under "At startup, open all files in:"
the file path is correct. Any idea why i cant open my Templates??

I don't use xl2003, but I've never seen anyone really use "at startup, open all
files in". Each time excel opens, it'll try to open all the files in that
folder.

Unless this is a temporary situation (you're working on a project and want all
the files opened every time you start excel), I'd turn this off.

First part:

If you do File|open and traverse to your template folder, can you open it then?

How about if you just double click on one in windows explorer?
