Excel 2000 Problem

B

Bill Renville

To the Excel Experts:

When I use the "TAB" key, the curser jumps to column L.
If I hit the TAB key again, it goes to column R. Every
time I hit the home key, the curser goes to Cell A1
instead of going back to the beginning of the row I'm in.

I have no idea how this all happened and it's not a virus.
I figure it's a setting somewhere but I have no idea what
or where to fix it.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

is the sheet protected? if the sheet is protected then when you press
tab you'll be only go between unprotected cells.

if you wanna be able to tab to every column you need to unprotec the sheet.

I guess where it takes you depends on the resolution but most likely you
have
Transition Navigation Keys checked under tools>options>transition
uncheck it..
