excel 2000 list

using excel 2000, the autocomplete list now contains choices I no longer want there (like misspelled or old choices) how or can ... you edit the drop down "pick from list" autocomplete list(s) ? Thank you for any help.

Hi

If you are talking about the Alt down arrow option in a cell, this function
only looks at entries already made in the column. I would suggest you try
inserting a blank row below the information you don't want to be offered.
This will limit the list displayed to only show items below that blank row.
