Hi Jacob,

This isn't guaranteed to solve the problem, but it's worth a try. Use
Windows Explorer to search all of your hard disks for files with a .XLB
extension. Delete any that you find. Note that these may be a hidden files,
so you'll need to set Explorer to show hidden files before searching.

Excel uses these files to store information about its toolbar
configuration, but they frequently become corrupt and cause strange errors
like this. Excel will create clean new default versions after you delete the
old corrupt ones, but you will lose any toolbar customizations you've made. "

I followed with this answer to
fix the problem but I did't find any files like that a.xlb
on that pc , so my problem stilll also in pending so what
shall i do for solve this problem ? in my case this issue is
very serious becose many users many times geting same problem
so please suggest me more powerfull best solutions for solve this
problem

Thanks in advance

Hi Jacob,

Are you sure you set Windows Explorer to show hidden files and searched
all hard disks on the affected computer(s)? If you are running Excel you
must have an XLB file. This file is used by all current versions of Excel
and if Excel cannot locate an XLB file on startup it will create a new one.
