Excel 2000 Formulas

This is not a question! After posting a question about Excel formulas, I was advised to try a book called 'Excel 2000 Formulas' by John Walkenbach. I have bought the book and, although I've only been through the first few pages, I have already found it invaluable! The book explains formulas and functions in simple terms, and is really easy to use! I have already started using some more complicated formulas which I never thought I would understand.

I would like to thank everyone who recommended this book, and if anyone is having problems with formulas please give this book a try

Many thank

Hi Jen!

Useful feedback that I don't think any of the regulars here would
dispute.

Only addition here is that you should get the later editions as John
continually upgrades his material and any differences between versions
of Excel are very clearly flagged.

It would be more effective to purchase a different book that would
supplement what you have, rather than just update some examples,
plus the mandatory few things that need to be added to sell a book
under a different cover. Other books by John Walkenbach

To simply upgrade to the same book
gets you better examples but not much more.

or probably a better supplement would be another book by another author such as
the Excel 2002 VBA Programmer's Reference, by John Green, Stephen Bullen with
contributions from Rob Bovey and Robert Rosenberg.
