I have a link between 2 books that I can't remove. I can only change.
I don't know how the link got there.
Is the link in a cell, and if so, how do I find it?
Very confused.

Joe,

Do a search on each entire sheet, looking for the name of the other
workbook, with option Look in > Formulas. If there is one, it'll be found.

Download and use FINDLINK.ZIP by Bill Manville, available from
www.bmsltd.ie/mvp .

Thanks Jan Karel.
The link was in a named list I use for data validation that I copied from
another book.
