Excel 2000/2 object lib incompatibility

A Worksheet written in XL2000 with some VBA backing,
tested in XL2000 and XL97. One user picked it up and tried
to run it in XL2002, and it tells her "object library not
registered". The help screen that links says essentially
that the XL2002 DLLs differ from those of XL2000 and
suggests that the "the application" be re-registered.
Which application? Excel?
I don't have XL2002 to play around with this. Does anyone
else have any experience?

I may have a similar problem. I have Excel files that were created on a PC that I now have on my Mac (OS X). Whenever I try to open the files, I get a message saying "Object library not registered". I am not running any macros (other than ones that come with Excel), have no linked code or anything complicated. I have no idea what I am to do

Any ideas?
