EVOLV For Windows Database Slow

When I turn on MS Anti-Spyware our EVOLV For Windows
database application becomes very slow when opening it
takes about 2 minutes. But when I turn off the MS Anti-
Spyware our EVOLV For Windows opens up in less then 12
seconds.

Does anyone know why is this happening and how to fix the
problem.

I'm not familiar with this database. Can you say more about the software
involved, in case the Microsoft staff reading this list are similarly
uninformed?
