Everytime I open a new Word document or a new Outlook email, I have some text
on these new doc's. I want to have blank documents to start out with. I've
tried to use blank stationary for Outlook and that does not seem to work.

Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance.

You use Word as an editor for Outlook so thats why it happens when starting
new Word document and new email. The problem is that your Normal.dot has
been modified ( as you said there is some text there ). You just have to
find your Normal.dot template file and remove the text from there. This file
should be in :

C:\Documents and Settings\your_usernamea\Application
Data\Microsoft\Templates\

Remove any text from this template and save it.

Thanks for your reply.

Problem, when I get to Microsoft portion of where you told me to go, there
is not a "template" folder for me to empty text from.

Rafal:

Thank you. I fixed it with your help. This has been driving me crazy for
awhile now. Thanks!
