eventviewer not logging anything

When I look on my server with windows 2000 installed, the
app, system is not showing anything. It is like it has
been cleared out. There is just nothing there and there
should be! Any insight as to what is going on. It is
set to overwrite events 7 days, but there is nothing too
overwrite.

Hi Nic,

Go to %systemroot%\system32\config and rename all of the *.evt files.
Reboot and see if events are being recorded.
