AFAIR it's in the Application log. It's actually extremely easy to locate: Just look at the few events that were registered at the time of running chkdisk. Takes less time than to read this note.

If chkdsk runs on reboot, look in the Application log for events with the following characteristics: Event Type: Information Event Source: Winlogon If that does not help, you should troubleshoot the issue related to the set rebooting out of the blue.
