I notice on our terminal server that the above eventid is continually being
logged. I have checked Eventid.net but have not really found a good
solution.

The error is as follows...

Detection of product '{00000409-78E1-11D2-B60F-006097C998E7}', feature
'OfficeUserData', component '{C9AF9050-C8BE-11D1-9C67-0000F81F1B38}' failed.
The resource
'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Common\UserData' does not
exist.

I have attempted to add this registry entry but with no luck. I am not 100%
cetain what exactly to add..

Can anyone help with this?

Thanks,

Brad

Thanks Jon.

That's not the problem we are actually having. There isn't any issues with
any TS connections at all. I do not know why it is continually logging this
event.

It seems related to Office somehow and I've tried to figure out when this
actually gets generated - what is actually going on and can't figure it out!
It would be nive if the event logger would tell you what actual
process/program is generating this!

I think I have a similar problem and am waiting on a reply
from Oli. See my original posting on 6 March 9.35pm,
currently page 10.

The userdata is not in the registry and this is preventing
access to applications including Office apps.

If Oli's reply helps you to find a solution, would you
please post a reply to me. After killing my computer
several times by doing things I don't understand, I am
very reluctant to edit the registry without instructions.

Regards

Shirley
