Event Viewer Warning

I have just installed a new Maxtor hard disk and out of curiosity I am
looking through the event viewer and come across a few error messages:
Warning ftdisk event id 57, The system failed to flush data to the
transaction log. Corruption may occur.

Should I be concerned about these messages?
