Event Viewer Com + error

In my event viewer, I am getting the following error and
haven't got a clue how to correct it.
"Com + System Applications Service Terminated
Unexepectedly. This has done this 2048 times, action to
correct restart the service". But it doesn't give me any
dependencies or what service is causing the error.

Does anyone know what would cause this? Would this be the
result of one of the critical updates or SP's I've
downloaded from the Microsoft site? Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

I corrected it! Had to go into the registry and remove
any references to the Com+ as well as disable the service
in services.

Everythings working just fine now.
