I recieve this error in my event log:

SCSI DVD-ROM SCSI CdRom Device
(SCSI\CdRom&Ven_SCSI&Prod_DVD-ROM&Rev_1.0\1&2afd7d61&1&000) was removed from
the computer without preparing for removing.

0000: 00 00 00 00 ....

RESOLUTION

You can ignore this event in the system event log if you have deleted a
hardware volume shadow copy from your computer.

I have some virtual drives, so maybe that's the case?
