event log managment?

We spend alot of time archiving and reading event logs.
Can't use the resource kit scripting tool to manage the
logs because we use gpo's to enforce event log settings.
What tools are you using to manage your logs? Archive in
a central location, etc? Any recommendations?

You could try Microsoft Operations Manager.
http://www.microsoft.com/mom/

It collects event logs and sends them to the MOM server which has a SQL DB
in the backend.
In addition you can have it respond to particualr events...
