Event ID 8260

Hi all,

we got a event log id 8260 at our exchange 2000 server. We still have no
idea about it.
Description of the error : Could not open LDAP session to directory
"server1.ABC.com"
using local service credentails. Cannot access Address List configuration
information. Make
sure the server "server1.ABC.com" is running. DC=ABC, DC=com

The server1 which is our "Root DC" and it is located at US. The exchange
server having this error message is
located at HK. Both of them are DC and running windows 2000 server SP4.
ABC.com is the root domain (parent) and exchange.hk.ABC.com is (child) which
is the exchange server location.
