Event ID 8021 & 8022

Hi folks;

I have a small network composed soley of Windows 2000 Advanced Server
machines.
One machine is a Domain Controller and for some reason all the other servers
routinely have these entries in the Event Viewer;

Event ID: 8021

The browser was unable to retrieve a list of servers from the browser master
\\MAIL on the network
\Device\NetBT_Tcpip_{D79EBA7A-BE27-4890-A380-5C64E4C1D625}. The data is the
error code.

Event ID: 8022

The browser was unable to retrieve a list of domains from the browser master
\\MAIL on the network
\Device\NetBT_Tcpip_{0DC04389-2D90-45FA-A3A2-29CE1F05524D}. The data is the
error code.

The server \\MAIL is the Domain Controller and none of the other machines
seem to be able to retrieve a list of domains from it. It's consistent as
can be on each of the other servers.

I'm assuming there's a setting on the Domain Controller that isn't set or
something? I don't know but I'd sure appreciate it if anyone could help me
solve this issue

Hi Andrei;

VERY useful stuff - thanks for pointing me in that direction. In fact, the
very first section fits my domain controller as it has two nics, one is
disabled and was at the top of the order. I changed that as per the first
section of the article and we'll see if that fixes it - I wouldn't be
surprised if that's all there is to it.
