Event ID 5781

Just done a trial NT4 to AD upgrade(about the 12th one so far, practice
makes perfect and such like)
Upgrade works fine, but event viewer gives me the 5781 errors.
Looking through google it mentions single name domain, but it cant be that,
since the domain is called "ad.company.co.uk"
DNS setup as follows.
Primary DNS is Bind with NS records added for:
_msdcs.ad.company.co.uk IN NS ad1dns.company.co.uk
etc
etc
etc for all the zones.

ad1dns is a windows 2003 member server, not a DC, running M$ DNS

What have missed??
Got some other errors in event viewer but they refer to w32time from what
ive found on 'tinterweb
