I keep getting the above error on the domaon controller
for itself (workstation name=DC name) and I am having
various issues regarding communication between my two
domain contrleers (this being one) and I cannot tranfer
active directory responsibilitees, etc. This is and has
been a consistent issue for some time, yet becoming more
frustrating. Any help or thoughts or suggestions would be
greatly appreciated.

I don't know exact problem but I would try two things. Go to http://www.eventid.net/
and enter information about Event ID number and source. It may give some helpful
information. I would also run dcdiag on that domain controller, looking for any
failed tests that may steer you in right direction. --- Steve
