Event ID 34 - disk write cache disabled

I'm running Windows 2000 server(sp4) with 4 physical hard
IDE UATA drives (2-60GB, 1-80GB, 1-120GB). My BIOS is up
to date as is the firmware on the hard drives.
Everytime I start the server I get Event ID 26 telling
me, "Service Control Manager : At least one service or
driver failed during system startup. Use Event Viewer to
examine the event log for detail." The Event Viewer has
an Event 34 for each physical drive -- "The driver
disabled the write cache on device \Device\HarddiskX\DRX."
for disks 0-3, where the 'X' is. It also doesn't seem to
matter whether I go to the drives' properties and check or
uncheck the "Write cache enabled." option. I don't really
care about whether cache is enabled or not but I sure
would like to eliminate the Application popup, event 26 -
Service Control Manager message coming up with every
startup or reboot for these particular disk cache
warnings. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
