Event ID: 3034, MRxSmb

"Event ID: 3034, MRxSmb, The redirector was unable to
initialize security context or query context attributes"
and "event ID: 1000, Windows cannot determine the user
or computer name.

I have tried everything I have found on Microsoft
Knowledge base and no luck. I have 10 workstaions and
one server running AD. The systems will logon for days
with out a problem and then stop logging on with this
error in the event logs. I have tried both static IP's
and DHCP, but still get the same error.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated,

How many nics in your server? What OS on the clients? Does the ipconfig/all
show that everything is pointing to your server-IP?

Marina,

I am running Windows 2000 server with one NIC card and
Windows 2000 Pro on the clients. On the clients I have
the IP configured throught DHCP with the IP of the DNS
server.

Yes I do, I am getting ready to re-install Windows on
this system. This problem is getting old.
