More than once a day I get this error in the event viewer:
"Desktop database for volume "Home" could not be loaded. Reconstructing the database."

Along with the usual Macintosh disconnects, this is an issue. It doesn’t seem to stop the server from doing its work, but I’d like to know the cause and fix. Any thoughts anyone?

This is purely speculation. If you haven't already, try uninstalling and
reinstalling the Mac File Services. If this still persists, I'd suggest you
may have a hardware problem or your drives may need reformatting.
