I will need some more info on this. Are you running any
client/server apps on your network including but not
limited to SNA server, Exchange, Outlook Web Access...
.
All we are using the server for is to administer
passwords and as a file server.

I would NOT ignore this. Your ipconfig looks good, provided that the domain
names were not edited to show a TLD and the actual names are not single
label names.
Are you getting any errors on the DC or the DNS server (or if the same
machine)?

Were any permissions changed/altered on any objects in AD?

See if this helps. Many different issues can cause this.

I'm getting a lot of errors on the server. How do I check
the permissions to see if they are OK?

Hmm, did you read that link I provided?

Can you post an UNEDITED ipconfig /all?
Can you post the other Event ID #'s of the errors you are getting too?

Permissions on AD objects, an object such as an OU, or a user, etc, go to
it's properties, Security Tab. Make sure you're in Advanced view first. But
the point is, has someone changed the permissions at all? Maybe deleted
certain permissions, such as Authenticated Users that need the required Read
on all objects, etc?

Thanks
