hi,

We are planning to release our site soon. We are not professionals, we needed a simple site and designed it ourselves.
The question is: is there a site where we can post our site for evaluation? that is somewhere where people tell us if our site is usable, accomplishes our objectives, and any other comments they want.

thanks in advance,

alfredo and team.

Publish your site, then post the link in this newsgroup.

I'd just publish to whereever you intend to publish in the end anyway. It's not
like you're going to have the site submitted to search engines overnight (usually
the search engine indexing process takes weeks or months, given the volume of
submissions they probably receive.

Also, I think the best evaluation is to make the site public and allow visitors
to access it!

Let your target audience give you feedback on the site, so then you can improve
on it continually.

But if it is in very early stages of development, I wouldn't worry. You could
put it on the server for say 48 hours and have people like this NG members
evaluate,. then you can remove it if necessary....

or just put up a bogus index page after it's evaluated and until its really ready.
like you said...it's not like people are lined up waiting for the grand opening :-)
