euro sign in an email rather than £ sign?

Is there a way to use the euro sign rather than the £ sign in Outlook?
 
In Outlook 2007, the shortcut for the euro is ctrl+alt+e.

Otherwise, does the font you use have it? if so, look on the insert,
symbols dialog for it.
