My Windows XP machine will no start in any other mode but
safe mode. After the F8 key, I select other options and
it responds with the exception, services, programs,
utilities and even the explorer think the machine is in
safe mode. Is there are registery setting or file that I
can modify to clear this problem?

Hi,

If you put yourself there and your system didn't, check your settings here:
Start/Run/Msconfig/Bootini and uncheck /SafeBoot. Apply/Ok, reboot.
