escape character

Hi,
does anyone know what the escape character in vba is?

like i want to make " part of a string but it always
takes it as the end of the string.

Sam,

VBA doesn't have an escape character as such. Use two "
characters. E.g.,

Dim S As String
S = "This has a ""quoted"" word."
