esata

eSATA is just a SATA port on the back/front of the case, you still have to plug a power cable into the drive for it to work

Do any of you use esata?

Where does the power come from?

Hi psd99..Your PSU should have a sata power connector on it..If not goto Aria and buy one from them..They were the cheapest I could find..

PSD99...Scrap my post..Me miss read what you wrote..Basicaly if your PC case does not have an eSata port on the front or rear panel then you need to purchase an eSATA controller PCI card as pictured in the attachment...

My external E-Sata came with a power brick so it just plugs into a wall socket for its power.
