My laptop works fine at home.

I am travelling and hooked up to a DSl connection.

When sending e-mails, I get a server timeout error 0x800CCC0F error.

I have disabled my firewall, but I cannot send. I have two different
POP/SMTP accounts, hosted on different servers.

Any ideas?

Either use the SMTP server of the network to which you are connected, or
supply proper authentication credentials on the Outgoing Server tab of your
account properties dialogue.

Does your "at home" ISP not provide a traveling server connection? When you
connect to the Internet from a different IP connection than you use "at
home", your "at home" ISP SMTP message submission server usually won't work
with the standard configuration.
