G Guest Apr 29, 2005 #2 It's spayware. You should run a full virus scan and Lavasoft's Adaware and Spybot serarch and destroy. Update all of them before running.

Sounds like you were somewhat successful in removeing the spyware. Now search the registry for the call to that file and delete the key.
