can anyone tell me how to fix this

C:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt.The system file is not
suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows
applications. Choose close to terminate the application

And the application i anmtrying to run is the free
version of AVG Anti Virus
any help would be great

Also, there seems to be some indication on path length. If a 16-bit
(16 bit program to help google) program refuses to install - but with
no obvious error message, then make up a new folder, say
c:\apps\programname - shove the program in there and re-run the
relevant setup file.
