I get a message that says Lgcmcn32.exe has encountered a
problem and needs to shut down. Does anyone have a clue
what this means? It doesn't seem to affect anything. It
happens all the time and is very annoying

Search for that file on your hard disk, when found right
click it and take a look at the properties. You should
find references as to whom this file belongs. Once you
know the application that uses it either repair or remove
it.

I found it. It's a Windows pre fetch command. Whatever
that means. Looks like a Windows XP problem. It started
after an automatic up date.
