Error

I am getting the following error when I try to open my
database (access 97).

"isn't an index in this table. Look in the indexes
collection of the table Def object to determine the valid
index names"

How can I fix that?

First copy the database and do not touch the original.
On the copy, try 'compact and repair'.
If this does not work, I hope you have a backup.

I'm not so sure this is sinister... but maybe I'm wrong!!! When you open
your database, is there any code that runs? If so, try removing all of it
and see what happens. If that cures the problem, look at what fields you
have specified in that code and see if they still exist... if not, I also
hope you have a backup!!!
