It's a program (or possibly OS) crash! To tell you anything more, we
would need to know what you were doing when it occurred, whether it
always occurs when you do it, etc.

It's a MS Access application. It's the AYS - At your
Survey that I downloaded recommended/written by Duane
Hookom.

The error occurs everytime when I try to add more than 1
record after opening the application.

Thanks.

Do you have other Access applications that are working without
problems? What version of Access are you using and is it patched up to
date? I would suspect either a bad Access installation (unlikely if
you have other applications which are running fine) or a Reference
problem (which usually causes less spectacular problems, but I have
seen crashes). Have you tried opening the VBA Editor, checking for bad
references, and recompiling?

I downloaded the office 2003 xp professional service pack
3 but am unable to install because it's asking for my cd
which I can't find. The install asks for Pro.msi to
proceed. Do you know if this could the issue?

Very unlikely, I would say, though not totally impossible, if you are
up to SP2.

I did not answer all of your questions last time. The
error does not occur with other Access applications that I
run.

My server runs on Windows 2000 v/s windows xp professional
on my desktop. Is it known if this can cause problems?

Thank you.

I am out of ideas. The one thing I might try is downloading and
unpacking the application again.
