Hi

I am running a network with about 10 users on a LAN that connect to a
mailserver abroad.
All but 3 users have faultless access and experience no problems at
all.
On the 3 that crash as soon as outlook is opened i get the following
error MSG:
Outlook.exe - application error
The instruction at "0x77fcbacc" references memory at "0xfffffff8"
The memory could not be read.

Sometimes the msg has "0x77fcc641" instead.

i cannot find an answer on any site or newsgroup, please help!

I would try 1) attempt to "Repair" the office installation using the
original media you installed with. If that doesn't work try 2) go to
the Office Updates website and make sure Outlook is fully patched on
those systems. You could also try 3) run a defrag / scandisc - I know
it's unlikely to fix it, but it's worth a shot.

Hopefully one of these suggestions does the trick for you - best of
luck!

Hi Scott

Thanks for the suggestions, but I have (unsuccessfully) tried all of
those options.

Something worth mentioning... I swapped accounts on two machines and it
seems that the user who first had the problem still has the same
problem on the new machine...and the user on the machine that had the
problem experiences no issues...
This is telling me it might have something to do with the user/user
..pst file? Other strange thing is that the .pst files dont seem
corrupt, and and stored locally, not on the server, which makes no
sense.
Any other suggestions?

Thanks
