Error When Installing Office XP

I need to use some components of Office XP for problem diagnosis.
When I install it on Embedded XP, the install gives me an error on
registering ven2232.old. I ignore the error. Excel, powerpoint and
word, however, seem to work fine. Any ideas what's causing this error
and how I can prevent it from occuring.

This seems to be a common misconception. The restriction is a bit more
forgiving. See

Sorry, I wish I could help but I'm still a newbie with XPe and have not
(yet) had to tackle this one.

Try adding the Null Device driver component.

The Null Device driver component was already included. Have you been
able to install office without seeing that error?
