Error: The operation failed

When I try to send/receive in Outlook, I receive the
following message, "The operation failed. An object could
not be found."

Outlook Express is working and I'm using the exact same
settings in Outlook (I double-checked them twice!).

Outlook is listed as my default e-mail account.
 
Sounds like a damaged profile, create a new one from the control panel by
double clicking the mail icon
