Error running CACLS

I am runing the following command from my W2000 server,
sP4.

CACLS * /e /t /c /g Administrators:F

It gets an error part of the way through:
"The system cannot find the path specified"

I cannot get past that certian point. I originally
thought it was a particular file causing the problem.
I deleted the file and it just got the error somewhere
else.

I ran "chkdsk.exe /f" but had same results.

Jim . I had the same problem the other day on a test machine learning the in
and outs of xcacls. In my situation it seemed that it would stop at a file
that had an undetermined owner - a sid was present, but no name as I may
have deleted the original user at some point in time. If I set the ownership
to administrators it would proceed until it found another file with the same
situation . You may want to look into that and if need be take ownership of
files first. --- Steve
