Error running any presentation

I get an error on my PC trying to run ANY .PPS file. The
file opens in Powerpoint, but if i click on the
Presentation icon, the first slide loads and displays
okay, but upon clicking the mouse i get the
error "Powerpoint couldn't create a hyperlink to ." This
happens on any PPS file from within Powerpoint or from
just launching a PPS file from Explorer. Seems i have a
corrupt Presentation Viewer situation. Any ideas on
this? Oh, BTW, the PPS files work fine on other
computers. I am running Office XP Standard on Win XP.

You might want to try the detect and repair, and see if that fixes you problem

Thanks. I just tried that, and it did not fix the
problem. I wonder, what is the relationship between a
Powerpoint Viewer file and Hyperlink? Hmmmmmmmm....
