For some reason when I disabled Error Reporting service on my XP machine my
Wireless connection claims to be disconnected when it isn't.

I posted the question with a screen shot of what I mean here
(http://www.hardwaregeeks.com/board/showthread.php?p=246676) but I was told
it may be an MS bug and Decided to come here and ask on the MS news groups.

Thanks in advance.

Mikey,

it does that because the driver has a defect. The current
workaround is to enable error reporting.

In the future you want to download and install the next version
of the driver, which will hopefully be corrected in this
respect.
