Error Opening Word Document

I have an email containing several attachments (word, pdf). When trying to
open a one word documents i get the following error:
"This object was created in Outlook. This application is not available to
open this object. Make sure the application is properly installed and that it
has not been deleted, moved, or renamed."
The same emails works fine from other machines. Tried everything, new
outlook profile, online/cache mode, remove word as editor, office repair,
even the SP1 for office that MS says it solves it, and many other things.
The same email works fne from other machines.
When trying to print the email, it says too many edits, when trying to save
this one attachment, gives an error to check permissons on folder you want to
save it at.

Plzzzz HELP

Yes it does. I tried both forwarding the document to another machine, and
logging in to the user's mailbox, and in both cases, i was able to open the
attachment.

Clear the Outlook Secure Temp folder for that user and try again. You can
either empty the Temporary Internet files folder for this or look up the
location in the registry;
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Security

A note on this one - in my experience, using the normal methods to
clean Internet Temp files (from IE Tool > Options, that is) doesn't
delete the files that Outlook left behind if an attachment was open
when Outlook closed - they have to be located and deleted manually.
Which is kind of tricky in and of itself.

The easiest way I've found to actually get rid of items in the OLK***
subfolder of "docs&settings\user\localsettings\tempnetfiles\olkX" is
to open an attachment from Outlook (double-click an Excel or Word file
attachment, for instance), click File/Save As... from the app itself,
and select and delete the files from the Save dialog box.

Is there an an easy way for an end user to find the folder to actually
be able to clear it? Even with "show hidden/system" options turned
on, I can never even see the subfolder from a client, regardless of
the user rights on the workstation.

Something I've missed? Or maybe some tweaking I did playing with
something I've since forgotten?
