Error Opening a form

After porting my application into Access 2003 from Access 2000, I get the
following error when I click the menu to open any form:

"The expression On Load you entered as the event property setting produced
the following error : A problem occured while [APP_NAME] was communicating
with the OLE server or ActiveX Control"

I do not use ActiveX ADO. Only DAO 3.6

I also use WinXP pro, SP2. I tried to install the Jet 4 SP 8.0 update, but
was unnessecary due to WinXP SP2.

Any help?

I forgot to say that no missing references exist.
I only use the following references

Visual Basic for Applications
Microsoft Access 11.0 Object library
Microsoft DAO 3.6 Object library
and a MDE of my own.

All those worked fine in Access 2000
