error on boot

I am getting an error on boot and cannot boot to hard
disk, floppy or cd, or even go to setup. the error
is 'diskette drive 0 seek failure' what does it mean????

Change your boot order in the BIOS. If this is not the case, reverse the

It appears that your BIOS is not seeing your hard drive and is trying to
boot from floppy. Go into the BIOS and do an autodetect of your hard drive
(s) to see if they are detected. Then check the boot sequence and test by
putting hard drive first.

I cant get into the bios to change anything and i cant
boot from floppy or cd. the computer was working and then
wouldnt reboot.??????????

up. what do i do, the comp was fine until i rebooted
after updating virus software???????

Hi,

You didn't mention AV software previously. If you can't boot into safe
mode, I can only suggest a repair install. Good luck!
