Error Number 2950

Hi Everyone,

When I attempted to run access 2000 application on Vista Office 2007, I got
the following error:

The expresion you entered has a function name that abc (Survey report file)
can't find.

When I acknowledged the error, the Autoexec macro dialog box appeared with
error number: 2950.

Please advise...

Thank you
Harry

Allen, thanks for your input but unfortunately, the references below does not
help. A few observations that I bother me:
1. The Autoexec Macro that prompts the error, "The expresion you
entered..." has a function name of Checkrefs() when I looked at the macro in
design view. But, I couldn't find where this function name resides

2. My thought was the function would be inside one of the modules. So, I
started clicking the module files. Each module file that I tried to open in
design view prompts an error of "The module name 'mod_XYZ' is misspelled or
refers to a module that doesn't exist.

I'll do some more research on the error but in the meantime, if you have any
additional suggestions I would really appreciate it.

Thank you
Harry

Sounds like the VBA has become corrupted.

Make a back-up copy of the MDB. Then, using Access 2000 (since you say it
works okay there), decompile it, compact it and recompile. Verify it works
in A2000, and then try it again in A2007.
