Error msg when sending data from Excel to Access table

Here is the message:

Microsoft Excel
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver]General error Unable to open
registry key 'Temporary (volatile) Jet DSN for process Ox3f4 Thread Ox8d8 DBC
Ox7473ac Jet'.

the code works on my machine, but not on other peoples. Any thoughts much
appreciated.

this was from a different machine but otherwise the same error message.
